"Log 11-10-2079" Animatic

"Log 11-10-2079" is an excerpt from a larger proposed multimedia project entitled "The Machine Wants Your Attention". The silent animatic depicts a weary robotics prodigy's morning, reflecting on her past successes, her current failures, and her self-destructive path forward in a journal entry. The scope of the overall project encompasses web-based interactive ARG elements, animatics, and audio logs, with this piece integrating two of those. It depicts the in-universe context of a text from the ARG side. The log itself was written first, and the animatic was then built around it to emphasize worldbuilding and characterization not conveyed by the log alone.

Say Goodnight Game

Say Goodnight is a short and sweet conversation sim visual novel about two best friends on the brink of drifting apart. It has three possible endings based on the user's dialogue choices. Say Goodnight was created to demonstrate an emotionally palpable story using limited assets in a short time, with the music, visuals, and dialogue designed to work in harmony to create the intended effect. I produced all of these from scratch, allowing me full control over their unified mood.

"Fracture Park"

Fracture Park is a proposed comedy/suspense visual novel in which the player must search a dubious theme park for their runaway sibling with the help of five eccentric employees. The worldbuilding and characterization shine in this project, with each character, location, and sublocation in the game given extensive development in the Game Design Document (linked below). The concept began with the idea of a haunted theme park with five subareas, each with a corresponding major character that the player meets and works with as the game progresses. The player's choices throughout can lead to one of seven possible endings, each tied to who they interact with and how.

About Me

I’m currently an animation student working towards becoming a storyboard artist for music videos, video games, and other short form animated media. I have a very strong passion for multimedia storytelling because of the attention to detail it demands, and it’s my goal to utilize this approach to explore complex themes in stories that both challenge the audience to reflect on themselves, and to inspire empathy and community for those who feel as unseen as I once did.
